Seasonality and Pre-orders
Queen production is a seasonal process. Semi-isolation queens are available from mid-May, while reproductive isolation queens are available from June.
We recommend pre-ordering to ensure you receive your queens at the desired time. Reservations are made exclusively via WhatsApp or phone.
Deliveries are made in order of reservations. Premium lots (isolation >90%) are limited in number — reserve early!

What's the difference between semi-isolation and reproductive isolation?
Reproductive semi-isolation (~800–900 m altitude) uses a mountain station where most drones come from selected Carnica and Buckfast lines — strong genetic control at an accessible price. Reproductive isolation >90% (~1400 m altitude, selected Buckfast) uses an isolated mountain station offering superior genetic uniformity and exceptional gentleness, in limited quantity.
When will I receive queens for the 2026 season?
Semi-isolation queens ship from 15–30 May, and Premium isolated queens between 5–20 June. We fulfil orders in reservation order. To secure availability for your preferred date, we recommend pre-ordering via WhatsApp.
How do you ship queens, and how long does delivery take?
We use specialised transport boxes with proper ventilation and ship via express courier. Romania delivery takes 1–3 business days, and EU delivery 2–5 business days. Shipping cost is confirmed at order based on destination and quantity.
How do I pay?
We accept cash on delivery (within Romania) or bank transfer before shipment. Bank account details and full instructions are sent via WhatsApp once you confirm the order.
What if a queen arrives weak or dead?
We offer a free replacement guarantee for queens that arrive in poor condition. Send us a photo via WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery, and we ship a replacement queen at our cost.
Can I visit the apiary before ordering?
Yes — visits are welcome during the active season (May–August), by prior appointment via WhatsApp or phone. The apiary is in Maramureș county; the exact address is shared once your visit is confirmed.
